Every year many tourists travel to Japan in spring for watching the flower sea in Hokkaido.  There are 2 places for introducing: Furano and Biei.  

1.   Furano

a.  The farm of Tomita

There are separated area for planting different season flowers.  Now is the season of lavender~

The lines are planted by different season colorful flower, offering us pleasant and relaxing~

Different degree of the purple flowers can show various species of the lavender.  Can you figure out?

If the weather is bad, we can enter to the greenhouse to see the growth of the lavender.

Eating the lavender ice-cream is not a bad choice in a hot weather~

Aroma fans may be eager to purchase the lavender products, such as, oil, perfume, bookmark or even the soap there.  Because the Tomita Farm provides the factory to produce the oil and perfume.  They can be the souvenirs or self-use to immerse yourself in the lavender bathing as well.

b.   Hinode Park

Enough area to plant different season flowers attracts millions of travelers to come here.  It is also as the sub-urban common park.  The beautiful view makes the Hinode Park become the popular wedding tourist venue.  

The bell is the “Happiness Bell”.  Knocking the bell with your lover and open the door of happiness~

Tips: If you come here in May to September, the roses, the Germany Alice and even for the sage will be filled to the whole park.  For welcoming the summer vacation, the dancing, lanterns, or firework activities will be held in July, you may go and have some fun there!

2.  Biei

a.   Wakka Genseikaen Native Park

It located near the seaside.  Thus, it is the wild coastal park and promotes the conservation planting by forbidding all cars to enter to the park.  That’s the reason why it is a native park.  Besides, the water is very famous, which named as “Holy Water”.  It is so pure, and you may have a try on it.

It’s quite rare to discover such natural and wild plants!

b.  Shikisai no Oka

The name of “Shikisai” means 4 seasons.  Why the hill is separated by different colors because it is planted by the season flowers.  If you take a photo from the far way, such appealing and beautiful~

The colorful lovely hyacinthus orientalis shows the vitality of life.

Except for watching the flower sea, we can also visit the Japanese National Treasure, the lovely alpaca.  Touching and feeling them is available.   They are so nice and lovable.  Let’s meet them now~
